Web Site: L'Aventure Leclerc
L'Aventure Leclerc is a discovery center focusing on the food manufacturing industry in Canada, specifically the production of the famous Leclerc cookies, which have been made in Canada since 1905.
The behind-the-scenes tour includes a 3-D multimedia show, a virtual tour of Leclerc's factories, and a short lesson on the cookie's place in the Industrial Revolution. The tour is ideal for families with young children, as it allows visitors the opportunity to see how the cookies are baked and provides them a hands-on chance to bake their own.
There is a $7.00 (CAN) admission fee for L'Aventure Leclerc, but youths age 17 and under get in for $4.00 (CAN), while children under five get in free.
